Hi, Donna - Thanks for comments. Don't believe security would be an issue for satellite transmission -- as it is potentially for both wireless and cable. I don't know if you would need another dish to intercept your signals -- interesting question. Don't believe the satelite itself would be a security issue but I would defer to others on this.

Seems like security is definitely a bigger problem with cable and includes not only security but even privacy. Satelite systems operate either ground line up and satelite down or satelite up and down -- the latter is preferable and I believe what most systems are working toward.

Let's hope AOL has an "open road" for all access options: plans for satelite, DSL, and to lesser extent wireless, underway. Let's wait for the "cable shoe" to drop and hope that it will be a pretty good shoe !
