Why was there so much volume on this yesterday and in the last few days...something must be up...
I bought 2000 more yesterday @ $10.10 because of the recent rise...

I think you answered your own question. A lot of people buy and sell the stock depending on which way it is moving. IE. any movement is amplified.

The steady Sprott buying is quite interesting, though. I wonder who their client is.
