Dan, My assessment of lack of compaq AMD based products is: 1. Intel hold the high ground, compaq focus for business is the hegherend products. Manufacturers are making a marketing mistake by not offering AMd based systems on the higher ie more delux basis. For example there is not one AMD offering with a DVD Drive, a harddrive over 18 gigs. CDrom rewriter most of which are found on the higer (priced)end systems. Whereas Intel dominates there. 2. Oem's right or wrong think cheap and configure with AMD think expensives and configure with Intel. 3.Me thinks K-7 will change all this.
