It appears that The Street does not like the AMZN move at first glance.

Re: Etrade trading problems. Been there, done that, got the tee-shirt. After trying several of the "standard" on-line trading cos, I decided to try E-Dreyfus (related to the Funds, yes.). Besides having a user-friendly, no-nonsense interface which enables one to log on and move about efficiently and quickly, their options trading features are notable, as are several other features, including ease of change/cxl with relatively swift confirmations of same, as well as comparatively swift trading executions and confirmations. Also, it took less than 5 business days for the account to be opened (from the time I mailed the forms coast-to-coast to account opening). I can't comment regarding customer service, other than transactional as mentioned above and account opening, because so far, there has been no cause to interface with customer service. If you want to take a look for yourself, they're at www.edreyfus.com

Good health, and good fortune (in that order) :-)

P.S. $15.00 per transaction market and limit orders when entered via the www. Options $1.75 per contract with a minimum commission of $15.00 per order. They have a private data netowrk which accepts direct trades too. If that is used instead of www is $19 per order. Live broker order $25.00 up to 5000 shs, above 5000 shs add 1 cent per share. Options can be entered via Private Data Network too...you can get all this from them directly.
