WEIR - Weiner's Stores - a solid retail turnaround play! Look at these numbers in yesterday's PR and then do your own DD. I drooled because the stock was available at $.50 this AM, representing a P/E of about 1.1. Talk about value! What else could I do but buy a bunch of shares... Weiner's Stores Inc. An additional contribution to our first quarter success was the roll-out of our Bed Bath etc Department, which is now in approximately 100 stores.'' As previously announced, Weiner's celebrated the grand opening of two new stores in Mississippi on May 1, 1999. Mr. Miller stated, ''The Mississippi customers responded in a positive fashion to our entrance into their market place.''
