To All...UPDATED Information on FNTN Advertising

Whenever I see a post with a definite date, I tend to question things. I do my own DD. I wanted to check on the validity of whether "advertising on CNBC will start within a month" and whether "CNCB(sic) adds(sic) will start regionally then nationally as per MS this AM" are accurate statements.

I spoke with MS on the telephone. Regarding the strategy and timing of their plans for advertising and marketing:

Any implication that the campaign will be solely on CNBC is not accurate. CNBC is included in the plans but is not the only media being considered. Other broadcast and print media are also in the plan. The timing for CNBC or any other ads is not yet fixed.

In that Joe Theismann will be in the broadcast ads and since MS has stated in the PR to expect 3rd Q for these ads, it is not likely that ads will be on TV within a month.

MS stated that print is part of the campaign. He made no comment as to a definite date for print ads but wanted to point out that it is possible to see such an ad before we see Joe T ads.

The short version of all this is....There will be a geometric marketing plan involving print and broadcast media. It is not limited to CNBC. There is no guarantee that any of it will or wont start within a month. Joe T unlikely till 3rd Q.

I hope it's sooner than later, but I want the facts when it comes to firm deadlines. These are the facts as I see them. Hope this helps with reasonable timing expectations.
