Vman, consider yourself patted on the back. I won't stroke your mane, however.

Valueman: You said, "You post redundant negatively-biased questions and you contribute no facts--who wouldn't find that annoying?" I suggest you read post #4678.

Don't you just hate being wrong?

I thought I was on the AOL board as I was going through today's highly personal and partisan posts -- not that there's anything wrong with that. As a poster who knows little of the exigencies of satellite communications, less still about marketing (you go, Maurice) and next to nothing about the stock market, I'm going to throw my 2 cents in about the message board.

I have noticed that at times of stress (just after failed launches, for example), there are increases in sniping and ad hominem posts. I think that at just a few months away from service launch, things are getting tense. Iridium's failures and some Iridium-like statements from Globalstar and its SPs are weighing on the "we are not Iridium" mantra. The increase in the quantity and the fervent quality of posting indicates that reckoning time is soon to be upon us.

I think that Jack Morgan - Joe Brown - Andmoreagain, (what is it to be next month? Darth Vader) is a vital asset to this board. Most people who are posters here are Loral shareholders with the obvious desire that the enterprise succeeds. Thus, we are irreparably biased whether we are emotionally attached to the stock (such as myself) or try to just "state the facts" (like Valueman). Andmoreagain is like one of those political spin artists we see on the Geraldo Rivera show. He is articulate, intelligent and always takes the "dark side" spin on issues Loral and Globalstar. He does, as Valueman says, " post redundant, negatively-biased questions and..contribute(s) no facts." For this I salute you..someone needs to do this - it makes for a more balanced board. If things go wrong for our stock, don't say he never made you think about it. Also, Andmoreagain's posts represents the view of millions of shares that are short Globalstar and Loral-- I believe a poster just wrote that G* short interest was at an all-time high. The good news for us longs is that if things go well, the inevitable short-covering will make the share price soar even higher. So what will it be? Will the forces of knowledge and light overcome the dark forces? -- we will soon know and put an end to most of these posts.

Sorry for the long post. Thanks again for all posters who make my time reading this board informative, enlightening and entertaining.

Regards,
Steve Rachbach
