ACTV Annual Meeting

I was there and this post from YHOO tells it well. No new announcements, but a sense of real movement!!

The meeting was over 2 hours. We saw a demonstration of Hyper TV application! WOW!!!! Knocks your
socks off. I need some time to put my thoughts together, but here is a brief synopsis:

1. All three proxy issues were passed. I do not think this was a big surprise. However, there was almost a
million shares voting against #2.

2. I thought I was at a revival meeting with Bill Samuels. He was extremely excited about the company's
future and passionate. The company is a labor of love.

3. BS wants IATV to be the #1 media company in the nation and thinks he can get there.

4. Rollout of digital is the key to the future success of the company.

5. The delay in rollout was a decision made, essentially, by Malone. The good news is that the rollout can occur
all over the country, instead of just the southwest. They are integrating ACTV with TVGIA interactive so that
our programming can be beamed to any digital box in America.

6. BS emphasized the LMG/IATV Events joint venture saying "Lookout!" Watch for this one. They will do
some very high profile events.

7. No truth in the takeover rumor. BS has no interest in selling the company. He thinks this will be the biggest
thing ever in media (basically a quantum shift in the way people use and receive media). Someone would have
pay an awful lot of money to take the company (I got the impression the price had to be in the 100's).

8. BS summed up by saying -The end result has to be compelling, you need great content and video coupled
with the right software with very little incremental cost working on any platform. It can be integrated with
broadcast, cable, PPV, DBS etc. and is a great standalone product.

9. Sales meetings have been underway for the last 5 weeks and there has been a great response to HyperTV.

10. The rest of the morning was spent on the HyperTv demo which was outstanding. I am not just saying this
for my health or love of the stock. Simply amazing. I will write about the rest tonight when I am able to put it
all together for everyone.

...Craig Ullman talked about the programming and how it worked. Spent time on the way people view, the
whole issue of chat online (which I thought was compelling), the way the can earn $$$ etc. as well as a little
about competition.
