They're saying nothing for the same reason the feminists said nothing about Willey and Lewinski LOL!!! I know that you live in the Great Northwest, but surely not in a cave... The feminists have mostly been prepared to trash Willey and Lewinsky for their boy Bill!

Chris,

Thank you so much for your warm welcome in O-Zone...

Regarding the environmental damages resulting from the Kosovo air warfare, let me point out to you that Milosevic's regime represents a far more hazardous environmental threat to democracy than all the depleted uranium that's been used in some anti-tank shells...
It's nice to care about the air and the sea in the Balkans but what's primarily at stake here is the political ecology of the region: Milosevic and his henchmen represent a highly toxic ideological pollutant that, if not halted, could contaminate the whole of Europe's political biosphere --that's why I've always talked about the current NATO operation as of a therapy!

<< I have seen nothing on the environmental damage being done in Yugoslavia. >>

You spend time looking to fault the NATO freedom fighters, while the Serbs are forcing hundreds of thousands from their homes, raping women and children, murdering and stealing everything that they can get their hands on.

What thieves these Serbs are! What legacy for the Serb culture, the rape of innocent women and children.

Chris, if you are so interested in environmental damage, why not ask the mothers of all of the murdered children how they feel?

There are rumors that some of the Serb soldiers and citizens are getting enraged at what Slob Milosevic and Dog Face, his wife, are doing to Yugoslavia. Let's hope the hanging of Slob and Dog Face in the public square is sooner rather than later.

The only references I've seen to the environmental impact of the war relate to the effects of the depleted uranium shells we're using, which will, of course, jeopardize the health of the people and land for generations. Forever, really.

(There are some epidemiological studies from Iraq indicating a correlation between the radiation left behind by such weapons there and significantly increased incidence of leukemia and other cancers. I don't know who conducted the studies. Also, in Macedonia, ambient atmospheric radioactivity has been monitored by the government, and the increase since the bombing began is reportedly 300%.)
