O.T. <Aren't guns fully imbedded in our culture> They are..but then again that is true for other cultures which have a lot less violence. The unfortunate thing is we are a nation which is lacking in the mores and morals categories. One other item relative to the gun issue is I believe the intent of the right to bare arms was to help ensure the people could keep the government in check. All this being I don't believe there is a need for automatic weapons, certain hand guns, etc, etc. However until we find a way to drastically reduce or eliminate the predators of our society some of these weapons do allow the more vulnerable people an opportunity to defend themselves (i.e. rape, robbery, etc.) Regards, Tom
