Atheist,

From what I understood, and Art & William may have heard better than I..... Malone doesn't like that "bottom up" approach, i.e. rolling out on a small scale in Texas & California with Fox Sports Plus (as it is being called)and he is calling the shots on this thing. He wants to wait and do a National Roll-Out...

btw, in the Liberty Media IATV Events venture, the split is 2/3, 1/3 and LM makes the decisions, IATV executes. (This is what Samuels said.)

Magic, I think you may be wright about the PPV events that Liberty/Iatv are going to do, the roll out for Fox is still 3rd Q

Are we sure of this? I sure hope so. When I read the message saying the rollout was going to be in Y2K I nearly threw something across the room... this rollout has been "a few months away" since mid-1996 or so, and I would have lost alot of respect if the rollout were delayed yet again. Plus, MSFT is supposed to be rolling out their client mid-2000, which means it won't be out until 2001 or so because MSFT announces release dates intentionally early because it keeps people from competitors products. I don't know what MSFT's feature set is (nor do they probably which is why the product won't be out in 12 months) so I don't know how well it will stack up to IATV, but either way I'd rather be out and making money before MSFT ever comes to market.
