Mr. Vendit,

DLJ is big on AOL since they started coverage!

AOL AMERICA ONLINE DLJ reiterates top pick, target $200, analyst meeting, the key takeaway was that AOLs position and model have never been stronger.

Vendit

So we are down an 1/8!

Thank You

JK

Pretty lackluster day considering all the brokers recommending AOL. I hope it pops up soon.

About this blank post. Sorry. I had just posted the article about AOL and Mr. Jacob of the internet fund and noticed it was already posted. It is kind of interesting that the internet fund manager would NOT attend the AOL meeting. You would think that with his new stance on AOL he would have wanted to participate in the Q&A session.

Fidelity's Peter Lynch, legendary fund manager of its Magellan Fund and now a spokesman for the company, said America Online (AOL: news, msgs) is going to be one of the top U.S. companies one day. "There's only a couple of hundred companies in the U.S. that make a billion dollars," Lynch said. "America Online is going to one of those companies." Lynch said that shares of many Internet companies are overvalued, and that "this doesn't make any sense." He said that some of the Internet companies, however, are good bargains and will be leaders in the industry, and that Fidelity is actively trying to find them.
