*Superconductor Filters* Qualcomm did tests on Superconductor Technologies [SCON] filters back in 1996 so they are well aware of them. They are expensive [were anyway] so I guess the cost and improved efficiency didn't match up. Cheaper to just blast away and increase capacity in other ways.

Which surprised me. I thought costs would come down and perhaps they are now borderline economic.
