You inquired "why own the downstream entities when you can go for the one at the top?" Answer: Because since Feb. 1, 1999, MSGI has appreciated some 540% compared to CMGI's 85% return during the same period. Do you follow?

It's difficult not to have those kind of gains when you start from five bucks a share back on February 1. But if you're making money on this one, I'm happy for you.
