Eddy-
Thanks for putting out the news. RBOT's partners are sponsors, though many of the surgeons have probably seen both Zeus and Intuitive's robot. Many more procedures discussed - not just MI-CABG.

ZEUS sales are "managed" so RBOT can work closely with all the players until suitable OR protocols are developed. The device is being developed along with the procedures. Note that it's already "approved" in Europe - the sites there take the responsibility that the FDA does here. US sites read like a who's-who with all the big names. A poster on the raging-bull thread site reports using it at Cleveland Clinic and likes it lots.

RBOT's technology seems highly valuable for the future but, as you say, when you think you know something... I don't know why we've slipped from the 12 range as all news has been positive and progressive. We'll see if there's any activity from the Paris show or the pending FDA response to ZEUS clinicals stage 1. RBOT seems to be playing the PR game well but public (and analysts') interest has not followed. The cardio segment has been beaten down lately - check HPRT and CTSI for related.

A big thing about RBOT is that they play well with many of these other technologies. The Hermes system alone is a nice, standalone market, usable by many other co's like Stryker. AESOP is similar - I know it's used with non-robotic MI bypass surgery and many other procedures as well - >60,000 surgeries on an installed base of >380 AESOPS, with few problems.
