I called out the DJU sell signal in Feb. -g-. Theory goes that if the DJU breaks down, the DJIA follows approximately 3 mos. later. Right now the DJIA seems to be breaking down right on schedule, but the DJU has since rocketed up so I'm not sure if this cancels that signal out or what. Those damn entrails can get so confusing sometimes. :)

The more reliable rate indicator used by the Piffers, the DJ 20 Bond index, continues to free fall since Febuary when it also gave a major sell signal. A breakdown in the DJB indicated higher rates ahead, and that's what we have today.

Utilities sure didn't lead the market down when they swooned last month. Do they ignore the downside signals and focus on the UP?
