Vaughn, I guess we do see things differently. I thought that I should answer your questions. You have stated several times that you believe, and feel that "any dispassionate third party would feel comfortable suggesting that almost any one of the aforementioned seven examples (see below) you requested would reasonably meet the definition of "preferential, exclusive and discriminatory"." Your points being: 1. GMD NR's are apparently not distributed on a widely read news wire or industry publication, VSE Policy 7, and National Policy 40 require prompt disclosure of any change in their affairs which might reasonably be expected to affect materially the value of the listed securities. GMD fully complies with this. George Cross and John Wood would take issue with your statement. 2. GMD NR's are not faxed or e-mailed (at least to me) despite my having repeatedly requested them I apologize for this oversight. GMD does not have a record of your requests, which does not necessarily mean that you have not provided it. Please provide your fax number and/or email to GMD Resource Corp, 604 662-3350 3. Despite my asking, you did not identify which news wire and what other means of NR distribution GMD does employ, Apologies for any oversight to this question. The Company uses Clayton Daniels and Associates for IR work, and disseminates News Releases to the VSE, George Cross News Letter, Canada Stockwatch, SEDAR. Access to SEDAR is by www.sedar.com 4. You and at least one and I believe two, apparently connected posters have hinted several times about GMD being in negotiations with a couple of "majors". If true, this is obviously inside and confidential information yet it would seem a select few are well aware of it ahead of common shareholders (and probably a great deal more), Any hinting I have made refers shareholders to the statement released in new release number 186, February 5 1998 which says "The Company has signed confidentiality agreement this week with several major companies who are reviewing the Discovery Mine and Royce Group of claims with a view to entering into an option agreement or joint venture." I cannot comment on anyone else's posts, but will try to correct any inaccuracies or rumours I am aware of. 5. GMD's volume spiked and price bumped from roughly $0.25 to $0.75 in the space of a few months while most juniors languish and without any widely and publicly distributed NR and without any material progress beyond apparently the distribution to a select few of geochemical sampling results, The Company had some terrific news during this period. New release number 206 on January 26 1999 and 207 on February 10, 1999 disclosed excellent geochemical results and was disseminated according to VSE Policy 7 and National Policy 40. News release number 209 on March 5 1999 reported that the Company had closed its $500,000 financing. This was disseminated according to VSE Policy 7 and National Policy 40. News release number 210 on March 12, 1999 confirmed the excellent geochemistry's of the till sample results from immediately down ice from the geophysical targets. This was disseminated according to VSE Policy 7 and National Policy 40. All releases are available over the web at www.sedar.com 6. You have been quite capable of duplicating on this thread all of GMD's NR's within seconds of their apparent public release yet you have never done so despite my request that you undertake such an IR service, I do not want to post news releases to SI. I have said this in the past. I am aware that other individuals do, and in the past I have on occasion done this. SI is not a news dissemination service, and to use it as such by listed companies would be inappropriate. Individual investors however, can do as they wish. 7. GMD has been quite capable of posting it's NR's and the material we recently discussed on it's web site within seconds of their public release, yet this has never been done, despite my request that you undertake that IR service. GMD does not currently have a functioning website. Once it does, NR will be posted as soon as released. I agree with you, in that individually, your comments do not characterize GMD's policy as preferential, exclusive and discriminatory. I also do not think that collectively they could be characterized as preferential, exclusive and discriminatory. Your comments suggest that you do not think that the VSE and National Policies on disseminating news are adequate. This might be true. Certainly access to the internet has changed world wide communications, and policies have to be adjusted to accommodate this. Both the VSE and the TSE have taken steps to deal with these changes. I will forward your comments and my reply to GMD management. Dave
