As I responded to a similar question on RB. Clearly, UUNET is a provider. To even intimate that there was any exclusive possibility had not crossed my mind. It is not a rational possibility. The point of posting the item was to provide a source of info on multicasting and the possibility of FNTN doing multicasting over such a high speed network as UUNET.

Partnering with UUNET is indeed a sign of strength for FNTN regardless of the competition. Progressive companies in this arena need quality partners. That was my point, along with passing along info on multicasting in general. I learned some things in the article and wanted to share them. Hope this helps.

As for USVO, from what Ive seen of their quality vs. the quality I've seen from FNTN on the Web and live on their intranet, I hope they are the top of the competition in terms of quality. If so, the result of the battle is already in the cards. Im ready for FNTN to play more cards as Im sure everyone is.
