I looked at a number of charts on CAT.

It did move to a new all time high and is back at the area of the breakout level, actually a couple of dollars below it. It looks like it might rally up in price for several days from this current decline of 66. I saw in Barron's that their was some insider selling of CAT
2 insiders selling 24,000 shares.

there is concern about deflation that is overtaking the commodity markets, in the past 2 weeks as copper, crude, grains all weaken.

that thinking that we will have a further round of global weakness and deflation would be fundamentally very bad for Cat. It will be interesting to see how it plays out, it is still several dollars above
it's 50 dma. SO I see cross currents in CAT currently.

It reall comes down to are we setting up for the summer sell off in the near future? if so CAt will weaken with it.
