My puts were a month old and I did make a little profit from them. It's just that if they were assigned I would have used a lot of margin to buy the Dell. I was planning on letting the option be assigned and just sell covered calls until things settled out. That's probably what I should have done, but I didn't want to aggrivate myself. I got burned last month on EMC puts.
