I flipped half the first day at 21-9/16 and sold the other half yesterday at 15-3/8.

1. Bad IPO timing.
2. Too many IPOs crowding the pipeline.
3. Slectivity toward Goldman or MSDW backed offers.
4. No brandname, no news,no alliance or partership, no coverage(yet).

I believe 2 and 4. I heard/saw a report somewhere that speculated that the net stocks that do best are the ones that investors are familiar with and use. Alloy Online is used by teenagers and kids, not investors. ALOY doesn't have a big "hook", like ETYS, PCLN, EBAY, AMZN, etc, do. VUSA was the same way. Being "like" a successful stock (almost said company but with net stocks the stock price and the successfulness of the company are not always related) won't carry you very far except in a market where everything's going up anyway.
