Anyway, my point is not such about which party stands for whom. I am sure all parties basically stand for themselves. What is more important is which section of society most of the support for each party comes from, and there the middle class has more of a problem with Sonia Gandhi than the poor. And I don't think "middle class" is the same as "elite".
