Well the price drop today would suggest you are on the money. But, IMO something still does not add up. The new account with Novell is based on more than an ongoing interest in NETO's health.

Well, I agree with you on that, but I suspect Novell's interest is more related to the fact that they have a stake in the company, not because they believe it's a superior product to everything else on the market.

As far as I can tell IBM is still actively selling NetObjects products.

I'm sure they are, but it's a nonexclusive contract at best. They're free to partner with other companies who compete in this space, and in fact their contract with NETO specifically says as much.

NetObjects Infoworld's Analyst Choice award, CNET's Internet Excellence award, and PC Magazine's Editors Choice award.

Well, these all sound impressive, but the fact is that these awards are not usually given to single winners -- more than one company can (and usually does) win an "Editor's" or "Analyst's" Choice Award.

Looks like BT Alex.Brown got tired of supporting NETO at 12. The stock is probably going to get more volatile from here -- you may get some good trading opportunities out of NETO yet.

Wil: I hope you are right about this POS,I will be happy to get out with my $12.00/share . I do believe the reason for the drop today besides the market conditions is that probably BTAB decided to take it off of the life support system, lord knows they got many other POSs on life support besides NETO you know.<vbg>

PS:Thanks for the effort in finding the those urls about the award and the IBM deal, much obliged indeed.

Wil - Don't believe everything you read; especially from parties with a vested interest.

Have you talked with anyone from IBM who would supposedly be using NETO's products. I didn't think so. Let's just say that the press releases aren't written by the folks on the front lines.

NETO may now be fun to watch and trade; we shall see. And if NETO manages to reverse the trend and really succeed, even better.
