Morgan, not necessarily indicative of a potential sell-off, IMO. The person you bought the options from will be "called" upon to buy / deliver Q shares to you, even though you plan to sell an amount equal to or less than the number you receive.

I'm no options trader, but why didn't you sell enough of the options to generate cash to be able buy the a number of the shares outright upon exercise of the remaining options?
