Will these professionals from the big brokerages ever be so low as to pump and dump? I really have a hard time to believe that; we are talking big and prestigious firms here. But on 4/16/99, DLJ upgrade AMZN to BUY (Top Pick) right before the earning release, I couldn't help asking what DLJ's intention was. Whoever bought into that upgrade... poor guys. My worst impression on brokerages that doing upgrade and downgrade is BA Robrtsn Stphns, you can almost use its analysis as contrarian indicator.
