Bad news. Now ARET spilts what they make with another firm when it seemed clear they could do it themselves.

OLD NEWS !! I believe this "residential loan program" announced today with George K. Baum & Company is merely rehash of what was
announced on 2/18/99. The "secondary market conduit" referenced in
that press release is more than likely George K. Baum & Company.
(see below)

>LENEXA, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 18, 1999--Dustan R. Shepherd, >president of First Americans Mortgage Corp. (FAMC), a subsidiary of >AmeriResource Technologies Inc. ARET announced Thursday that the company will >expand their Native American loan production by utilizing their Internet origination >website and video conferencing in conjunction with Indian Centers.

>The company recently submitted a $100 million loan origination proposal to a primary >secondary market conduit. The proposal targets the Urban Indian population in 10 >major metropolitan areas and calls for the development of a new residential loan >product to be used in conjunction with existing conventional and government insured >loan programs.

In today's press release, they state: . "This alliance will allow FAMC to focus on product development for home buyers that would not otherwise qualify for a mortgage under the company's PMI/Freddie Mac loan program."

Back in the 2/18/99 release they state: . "the development of a new residential loan product to be used in conjunction with existing conventional and government insured loan programs."

It's the same program announced 3 months ago, and George K. Baum & Company is the "secondary market conduit" referenced in that 2/18/99
press release.
