ithasnospaces, my opinion is that you should sell.
Why hold on to a stock in a company you don't like? Take your tax loss and move on, unless you're not capable of finding one stock among the thousands to choose from that will give you a better return for your investment. Move your money into a company you believe in. By holding and bitching, you're showing your incompetence.
just my opinion,
Gator

Ah yes, the old why don't 'cha move on. Always the redoubt of those who don't want the cheese, they just want their foot out of the trap.

Reasons:
1. Purchasing high and riding low gives me the right to bitch
2. Continuing to hold means I can be a force for change (or at least warn others of the quicksand). Maybe I should just put a disclaimer on and absolve myself of any ethical obligation of failing to inform folks of the incompetence of this management when I got those restricted shares...wait that wasn't me!
3. I may have demonstrated poor judgement, badly shown my anger, fed my righteousness, and grabbed from the salad bar with my hands gleefully ignoring the tongs, but I didn't participate in disseminating information about this sham and hide behind a nondescript disclosure...thats incompetence.

Hey, Gator,
I have thought many times about selling my remaining shares but I hate to take a large lose on the sale. I keep thinking that Doug will finally realize that something has to be done differently than it currently is.
Why is Doug's wife on the B of D? She can listen to Doug's comments and concerns at home. We can't afford to have her on the ETPI Board of Directors. We need Board members that can think independent of Doug and can bring outside knowledge to the board meetings.
Why is Doug selling 250,000 ETPI shares a quarter? Maybe he can not afford a personal accountant to manage his personal funds either. ETPI can not afford not to hire a qualified CFO.
Gator, Thanks for letting me use you as a sounding board. I wish that I never heard of ETPI, but that is water over the bridge.
Take care.
