Steve I do not disagree with your take on LU product line or R&D but take a look at LU multiples on real earnings or sales and their debt to equity ratio. As a reminder if SI still can go back to 1996 see my comments on Stocks I recommended on SI to get out and I got flamed in return. Oct 1996 SIII over $22 by April 97 $9 OCt 1998 $1.5 Aug. 1997 VLSI over $36 by April 98 $15 Oct.98 below $10 April/May 1998 CA over $60 by July 98 below $30 Oct 97 LSI above $32 Oct 98 around $10 on LSI tread I did not got flamed SUNW April 99 $75 end of April 99 $50 recomended as buys SIII July 96 at $12 VLSI Oct 96 at $13 NT, Nov. 98 at $40, SUNW April 98,at $42, VSH Nov 98 at $12 ROS Nov 98 at $2.5 TTELF Feb 98 at 10 predicted LU in a trading range of $48 to $60, Feb 99 and many others Well make your own conclusion.
