I am short PCLN.

I think it has a more interesting business model than Amazon's, actually. But not to 18 billion dollars or whatever.

to put things in perspective
etoys ipo today gave it a market cap of about 18 billion on seles of 35 million,
toys r us has an 11 billion dollar market cap on 2 billion in sales and they also have a great website .it is projected that in 5 years their will be 5-600million in online toy sales ,,,so lets say their is no more competition in this area and etoys gets 100%of these sales it still wouldn't grow into it's market cap
this is the perfect example of the net mania, people that don't know too much about business are just buying into the concept ETOYS "HEY THAT SOUNDS GOOD TOYS ON THE INTERNET"and they buy the stock,,,it is all market sentiment with net stox, and to short imo you have to wait for a ridiculos price to limit your loss when you cover,or wait till the sentiment turns bad,,,but always be carefull!!!!
