Howdy Pat, I'm with you. I'm playing with COMS on the side, and trading / holding some for a take over play... but I hope it is not in relation to LU. I think the whole investment community views that as bad....no.. not just bad, but VERY BAD for the ASND/LU play we already have in the works. But with that amount of uncertainty, no wonder the networkers sold off this afternoon. COMS and CS held up well, though. If LU announced a deal with COMS, all I can say, is I hope I'm online at the time, because there would be a lot of ASND for sale. Jack

Pat, I am with you 100%. Cabletron in particular is an excellent match for Lucent. If they bought 3Com instead of a company like Juniper or Cabletron I would sell the stock short! And I don't like doing that! Cheers, Steve
