I was going to sell Idtc on wednesday at 30.I held even though I was disappointed with the stock's reaction to the spinoff and partnerships.I held because I have been searching the heavens for companies in the telecommunication arena that would make good longterm investments.I use a full service broker and I have him doing tons of research in this area and as I pull out of retail and traditional tech stocks my feeling is broadband and telephony will be the next major waves and I want to get in early so I asked my self is Idtc just the type of company you are scouring the world for or not----I answered myself by holding. I own this company in the mid teens,it has only 33 million shares,it has a large ownership of what could be the next great ipo,it has stategic relationships with all the companies that I would love to be in partnership with, and it is in the area where I am trying to invest my future. Why would I sell? O.K. now I own a company in this field and over the years I expect the share price to increase and I expect some splits and even more spinoffs and even more longterm realtionships with even more great companies-----how can it get any better than this?
