i agree with a lot of what you say about fleck, and the bottom line is what russell believes. but, do you think that we need more balance to become more conservative ? when you say more balance, what do you mean ? the last thing we need right now is someone who is conservative and watches the i-net world fly by them at a dizzying pace.

one of the main things that folks around here discuss is that they dont announce enough news, dont here the go2net name enough, etc.. how does someone conservative help an issue such as this. i want them to buy more properties (mergers or aqcuisitions) that are also trading at high p.e.'s and technically overvalued, but fit into our platform. does bill feel the same way ?

how about spending more money advertising ? another complaint around here. how does a conservatist make go2net spend more money on advertising and maybe sacrifice making penny profits now, for getting the go2net name brand out there more and having a few losing quarters.
i see go.com everywhere. i hate to say it but too many people i speak to think that go2net is that (go.com). they even buy it on that assumption. that raises a red flag to me. i am a little confused on that advertising campaign they announced in march. i spend 10 to 14 hours a day on the internet at many various popular and (other) sites. i have never seen a go2net or go2net owned site advertised. i saw the usa today ad, also the add in wired magazine. thats it though. i would think that the best way to attract on-line users is to reach out to the ones that are already spending there time on-line.

all im saying is that, i would love to see someone who is just the opposite of bill. someone who is not a pessimist on the market, but he who thinks that these companies are infants and wants to buy them and expand them now, in there infancy. someone who is not conservative. someone who is bullish on i-nets.

just my humble opinion, josef...

p.s. a perfect example of this is e*trade vs. ameritrade. anyone that has used both competing companies would know that the e*trade site offers almost anything you could think of related to investing. but, they are losing money right now. not much. and they will start making money very soon. ameritrade is making money, but there site sucks. they offer nothing at all really. so, where will the two be in six months. two years ? five years ? how much further along than competing companies will go2net be in that time ?
