better short than priceline (who is bleeding $$ bigtime just like amazon) then let me know what it is.

Pcln has 10 m shares in the float mostly held by friendly customers of the IPO underwriters. Perfect for a short squeeze. Same with ebay.

Your comments re cmgi are intriguing. I did short lcos yesterday at 120, and it worked out ok. (obviously. the stock is down 10 points). But cmgi seemed too muddy to figure out. But maybe not. Let's see tomorrow.

No can do....as long as emotions move investors to illogic a short seller will get murdered in this market.

Problem is that when the ship goes down it's going to be so bad. 20 million people dumping their shares at once will not be a pretty picture. It'll make '29 look like a cake walk. Til then this market is Bullet proof....

Good luck....

advise this kind of company to issue so much debt. >>

btw William, the game is just about over. We can all feel it. Bezos can feel it too, which is why they've got the 'nads to file for 2 billion more, immediately after the previous offering.
