Bruce - I know you will appreciate this... Check out the following: e-commerce.research.ml.com Read the sections; Executive Summary, Internet: The Epicenter and Media/Entertainment. It is a lot of reading, but well worth the time. I think Merrill is dialed in to the whole convergence theme. It is especially good reading for those who are trying to put all the pieces together. (you know who you are). From the section titled: Developments in Europe. The perceived wisdom is that is the sports and film programming that are the "killer" applications and the interactive service are just "nice to have". This is incorrect, in our opinion. There should be no illusion that e-mail is another killer application, as is high-speed internet access and interactive/ e-commerce applications - ----- From the Fortune article, we know that Merrill knows who we are… SH
