PTEK-Good post from treehouse7 on the YHOO thread :

I think that most are not aware that PTEK is engaged in numerous other internet related equity partnerships in addition to WebMD. They include Sun Microsystems, Weboforia.com, Intellivoice.com, USA.net (IPO coming week of 5-31-99, and VerticalOne.com (IPO filing made) and as such are a strong and rising internet venture capital company that is wisely leveraging their talents, products and services through equity partnerships. So as such each time they own a substantial part of the firms that they install their cutting edge internet technology products. This company is going to be another CMGI or possibly even better. Go to the corporate websites and see for yourself. www.PTEKVENTURES.com and www.PREMTEC.com and read the descriptions of each of these companies that they are equity partners with. By the way each of these companies including WebMD is obligated by contract to do huge amounts of business with PTEK. As an example WebMD has purchase its first 50,000 seats of PTEK's ORCHESTRATE Virtual Receptionist to be used by the first 50,000 doctors subscribing to the WebMD service. This company is way bigger than many of you might think. (Sorry, I haven't figured out to highlight the links above but I would just love it if someone would share that little detail with me) Cheers. Go PTEK !
