jim: Most analysts think the DELL stock Price will be at 50-55 at years end. It depends on how well they deal with the challenges facing them. If they really screw up it could be zero. <g>

Very profound!

I would ignore Kumar and Niles and their talk of DELL at $30, if I were you - what do they know. The only time they are right is when they are bearish on COMPAQ.

I must congratulate you on admitting your errors about DELL - I think!
Here is what you said on the DELL thread.

That is a really good question. I can not venture an answer yet.
I am still updating my own model. Updating models is an extremely risky business when you tend to be over optimistic.

For a shorter term answer, I believe the analysts are pitching about
$50 per share by the end of this year. For the last 6 months, they have been more correct than me. Fortunately, I managed to make a lot of money despite my prediction errors with DELL the last two earnings reports.

So how you manage your risks and play your portfolio can be more important than being right with the predictions. The ideal situation is to be right on both accounts but that is very difficult.

Regards,

Jim Kelley

What happened with DELL yesterday? Did they report more bad news?
