RX -Cenestin -a synthetic estrogen which will compete with AHP's
Premarin.. DRMD did not receive bioequivelance to Premarin - - -it
lacked one compound found in natural estrogen (horse urine).
Instead the DRMD product is plant based. >

You probably know more about this stuff than I do, although I have some familiarity with it.

Uhmmm... Like, you need MORE Estrogen?

Thank you for responding! My intention was not to tout the stock - rather to share one of my successes with the thread - and as luck would have it the drug stocks get hammered the next day!

Without a background in biochemistry - or transsexuals - I could not comment on the efficacy arguments.

To the contrary your knowledge on the subject would appear to be far superior to mine - I have followed the plight of Duramed as they fought to gain approval of the product. My interest in this company was generated due to the incredible strangle hold on the market that AHP held for years - and was willing to fight for. They continued using arguments re Delta 8/9 (horse urine) - the "secret" ingredient in the formulation. In making these arguments, IMHO, AHP virtually guaranteed when a competitor came to market they would launch a marketing plan based rooted in the belief that there would be a percent of the market that would prefer most ANYTHING to horse urine. I validated this in a random sample of my employee's. My decision was not based on the science. Rather, more on the belief that if handled correctly there is an opportunity to gain some market share through direct to consumer advertising. Perhaps not as sexy as some of the things I have seen on this and other threads - but again, IMO the probability of generating earnings is more likely. Thus, it better fits my approach to investing.
I will be closely following the product launch - and will bail at an sign of market resistance. COMS would be another example of a company I like because it was first a value play - and if we get takeover - that's gravy.

The thread takes much time - and I can't participate in quick trades or opportunities that are presented during the day - with study in the evening I have been able to learn much from all - and a make a few profitable trades . I have enjoyed your posts - you are articulate, quick, and funny - as Glen sez they bring me smiles.
