GVT: It would just mean an evening out of the order flow with less of the opening bulges that routinely occur and which routinely exacerbate the volatility in the market place. As far as analysts dealing out prior info to one customer over another I think that abuse will never cease. It seems to me that analysts are sometimes listened to and sometimes not. Take DELL for instance Dan Niles says he is worried but BTAB is very bullish along with others yet INTC languishes with a negative bias. Actually, whereas the small investor used to be shut out of the after and prehour trading, now everyone will have access. In fact it might even make it harder for the computer traders, who come in with their program buys and sells just before the close and play there tricks, to get away with such manipulation without answer from the broader market.
