agreed...pr IS getting better... still one fundamental problem... people on this thread know NBase-Xyplex is part of MRV, but do you think the investment community (including individual investors) put the readily two together. I know it took me awhile to make the connection without having to think about it (of course, i'm pretty slow). i really think there's a problem relating to mrv and its subsidiaries. i know it's difficult to make a transition after an acquisition, but i'm not so sure they shouldn't have made a complete name change for the sake of PR and marketing. just something to mull over. does CSCO, LU or for that matter any of the small ones try to sell products under subsidiaries with separate names? just curious.

True enough. All I meant to imply by competition (and what I learned through 14 years of sales at AT&T) is 'that people by from people even with good branding, servicing and product' (exclude e-commerce).
