kathy--I traded scur from 9-20 a couple of times and missed the run to 29. I too have been contemplating entering again. The reason all the firms downgraded it was due to the earnings shortfall, and it has been dead money ever since. From what I understand, it has a great technology, and if they ever get their earnings on track again, could be a fast mover.

Good luck,

Scooter

SCUR, nice basing pattern. Very narrowed Bollinger bands. The longer this takes place the more violent the initial move can be. Recent examples mentioned on this thread AXNT, MANU, ASDV, AXC etc..In a case like this the Bollingers (20, 2) become their own natural indicators of support and resistance.

The seeming boredom with the stock...i.e. flat line is not boredom per se but rather pent up emotion that's waiting for any news or rumor to release it, sending it flying, up or down...more often up, in a pattern like this. As you point out, what's the downside?

Volume is picking up the last 3 days, stocks hanging on that lower Bollinger band.

I know very little about the company. If I was going to play...I'd simply play for the possible pop.
