May 18, 1999 News Release

"SRR Mercantile Inc. (the "Company", wishes to announce that it has concluded the final settlement today, in respect of its aborted joint venture agreement of Nov 22, 1007, with Societe Victory S.A.R.L. All outstanding matters between the parties have been resolved.

The Company further announces that it now has title, and 100% undivided interest through a Malagasy subsidiary, in eight mining claims. Four of the claims are for sapphire exploration and exploitation in northern Madagascar. And the other four claims are for beryl (emeralds) in southern Madagascar."

Glad to see the deal close. The stock is reflecting it somewhat. I am not the SRA promotion guy but a long suffering shareholder, who has watched this company try to get going. And seen the share price go up several times and come back down. I was posting what I was hearing instead of just lurking around.

I am hopeful that this stock has a chance. Have you heard anything more about the e-comm point that was made in a news release?
