< HAUP > < Business Week Pick > Hauppauge to unveil strategic pact-report

NEW YORK, May 20 (Reuters) - Hauppauge Digital Inc. will soon unveil a joint venture with a
big Internet company as part of its push to popularise the use of a window allowing television
viewing on personal computers, Business Week reported.

David Jordon, senior vice-president at Axiom Capital Management, said in the financial
newsweekly's May 31 edition the company would soon announce the pact with another company
that broadcasts streaming media programming on the World Wide Web.

He said he expected the company to earn 60 cents per share on $55 million in sales this year and at least $1 per share on $75 million in sales in
2000.

NJ wants to pass some law for "smart guns", something about putting chips in guns so that only certain people could fire them, there's an article on MSNBC about it. Might be worth a look.

In any case, no gun-lock is going to cut down on school violence, or any kind of violence. Most kids get guns illegally, or from their parents rooms. American's can be so dumb some times. It's not going to make guns harder to get either. How often has a lock stopped you from getting at what you want?
