Hi, Folks,

I've been lurking on this thread for a few weeks, and I am impressed by the level of knowledge shown by many of you.

I am interested in "Green Power," which is one reason I am attracted to this company. My Mom, in fact, leases an EV, and designates her power from renewable resources (we're in California).

Anyhow, I have a question that I have not seen addressed since I began lurking, and I imagine several of you can provide an answer.

We all know that in addition to smog produced by the burning of gasoline (and to a much lesser extent, by natural gas), there is a certain amount of pollution generated in the production of those fuels. What pollutants are a byproduct of producing hydrogen for the fuel cells? How is the hydrogen produced? By electrolysis or what?

Thanks in advance for your time, and your quality thread.

Cheers, Tuck
