<The worst performer of the leaders thus far today, is AMZN??? Do you know why? >

Of the four, AMZN and YHOO are looking the weakest technically - both have broken through their 50-day EMAs. AOL is sitting right on its 50-day - a pretty critical position for the inet bellwether. EBAY is still looking pretty good, sitting on its 20-day.

AMZN is weakest today because historically, it has been the most volatile of the 4 and the inets are all in correction mode right now. Moreover, it appears that some investors are growing weary of continued and growing losses.

Does this shake my confidence in the company? No it does not. It has some of the best management around. As a long-term investor, I focus on my split-adjusted cost basis of 26, rather than AMZN's 41% retracement from its high.

It isn't though Glenn (although I don't know what it was when you posted this). Cmgi is down 3.20%, amazon down 3% and aol down 3%. Then move to the next group, doubleclick down 4+% and down you go from there.
