There seems to be great apathy on tech stocks now. But that can change in a day.
I'm anticipating ELOT being $300+ by two years from now.
It's a great idea, and so far the legislation and news is evolving favorably. With any radical new idea there will be skepticism and resistance.
Maybe the internet will make state's greedy enough for extra revenue to end their ban on interstate sale of lottery tickets. Imagine sitting at your computer and shopping for the state with the best lotto pot and odds at the next drawing and then placing your order over the internet. It sure beat driving to the Florabama Lounge in Gulf Shore, AL. or to Port Arthur, TX. like I have to do now to play the FL & TX lotteries.
Netbank got up to $240, and I don't think the internet is well suited for personal banking. That is unless Netbank puts its own ATM's across the country. And Healtheon got to $104, and I don't understand their business model.
The internet seems to be a perfect venue for lottery. You place your order and get your "product" -a confirmation- immediately. No FedEx or UPS needed. And this is not counting internet wagering on dog/horse races, etc.
