Auric,

Independent of the fundamentals here, ASTN has enough volatility to be traded both ways. How do you pick a short entry point in a case like ASTN? Could you share a strategy for playing today's action?

thanks,
dana

<<Let me assure you that a 25% increase of something under 1% is friggin meaningless. Absaeffinlootly meaningless.>>

If you read what I wrote, I said that I was forwarded a chart which indicated that institutional ownership in ASTN was approximately 25% this month as opposed to 0.3% last month. I also wrote that I was not able to verify the information I was sent and was looking for independent confirmation of the same. Maybe the chart was wrong. It wouldn't be the first time a chart (or I) didn't get it right. It does seem like an enormous change and maybe too good to be true.

For your sake, your better "Absaeffinlootly" hope that the institutional ownership information I posted is meaningless.

Otherwise, it is you who will soon be meaningless to this board.
