I didn't mean to suggest that you were the one. Nor that you don't know what you are talking about. You were pointing out an IPO based on shares representing the majority position of the company and that if so the majority position would shrink after sales to the public.
What you have said is correct as far as I know. But does the amount of shares registered have to represent the majority position they presently have? I asked if there was a requirement for this but so far no one has quoted this but there could well be one. But are there not other possibilities for IPO that does not fit the norm? I think there are.
