Hi, all. Greg asks, "What am I missing? Why no interest in this stock?" My guess is that the market is concerned with the longevity of graphics companies in general:

1) Intel announced intentions to integrate graphics capabilities into the chipset. With 70% of the chipset market or so being owned by Intel, that presents a threat to graphics companies like ATYT.

ATYT responded with their Core Logic Program.

2)Intel is quite capable of 'having a profound effect on pricing' in the 3D graphics business as they did a while ago.

3)The graphics business has been through lots of 'leaders' over the years who were big and then went to oblivion or near oblivion including S3 and Cirrus Logic. And, of course, Intel might ultimately be successful at grabbing marketshare and dethroning AYYT.

It's all this uncertainty, I believe, that is depressing ATYT. One of the things I like about ATYT over, say, TDFX, is their attempt at diversifying into other areas such as set-top boxes. If they're successful, ATYT could be huge in high volume consumer products with graphics requirements. I happen to be long in ATY and look at it with a long term view given the high quality of management that ATYT appears to have. Just my $.02.

Regards,

Mark
