Hugh,
We can hope! But if DST takes it's time taking off (and I don't think we have more than another 18 mos to make our presence felt), and the other side of the story turns out to be a sink hole because it was not properly capitalized from the get, we'll be lucky to be an $6 stock.

Jill: It is my understanding that that old story about the difference between Eastern thought and Western thought began in the East, earlier than 10000 years ago with the belief in "The Four Heavons of the Four Directions" the West being one made up of Deamons. Nothing to do, really with our West. In Early Pali writings, we learn of Greek Buddhists (including Alexander the Great), and there is every good reason to think that Greek Philosophy (Western Philosophy) was thoroughly familiar with the Hindu and Buddhist ways of thinking.

Today, we have in both Eastern and Western thought the heavy dominance of the idea that "My set of beliefs is the only right set of beliefs, and all other beliefs are false." An idea alian to the Pali,a and to wise thinkers, both East and West.
