Mani,

I read somewhere a couple months ago an article that talked about a new paradigm in the chip industry: Only the biggest and richest companies would be able to survive because of the high cost of tooling the new process technologies. The survivors would be a list looking like Intel, IBM, Motorola, and I'm not sure if there were any others. Wish I could remember better and I hope I'm not mangling the story too bad.

In this light, I'm suspicious that this emerging problem may be more than a short-term blip.

wily

I am saying that stocks move down because there is supply, whether from shorts or natural sellers. Those that point to conspiracies among "MM's", as many do on these chat boards (and never in response to a stock trading higher), are fools.
